It really popped out at me. It made me feel like if I curled my toes just right, I'd feel Ron's leg hair. It's tactile sensation. I love tactile sensation described like this, because I personally am a very tactile person. ::hands over a basket of cookies::

Hi! :D Welcome to 'My Fandom Insanity'.
It's always lovely to meet a fellow yaoi/slash fan, especially when they're as addicted as I am. :)

It's not rude, it's just a bit of a long story. Here's the short version. Basically, LJ/Six Apart started deleting journals (without warning or explanation) of people who participated in the Harry Potter fandom, especially those who where part of the Slash Side. (And other fandoms, but since I'm mostly in the HP one, I can't be sure about who else was affected.) They even went after f-locked journals of people who required age statements to be friended. When fandom started asking them what was going on, they basically ignored us for a week before saying anything. Then when they answered, their excuse for the deletions was that they were after pedophiles. They were protecting the children. And that the fic/art journals that were deleted had no 'artistic merit' to excuse their contents. ::rolls her eyes:: But they just happened to ignore all these sites that preached hatred and violence. They did that twice earlier this year. So a lot of people left when it became apparent that they weren't really listening to their customers, and were targeting fandom.

So we moved to different journaling sites like GreatestJournal, InsaneJournal, and JournalFen. Most of us have settled here at IJ though, so it's the easiest to use, and so user friendly. :)

I had no idea that went on D8 A few of my HP friends (as well as quite a few anime fans who liked yaoi) were deleted, but I just figured it was a coincidence. But what LJ did is just infuriating *kicks LJ* Surprisingly my account on there survived, despite all its slash-obsessed terror.

I know. :| My account survived too, but I think that's because I don't have any fics or pics actually uploaded there that could get me in trouble. (Here is starting to be a different story. ;)) And now Six Apart has sold LJ to their Russian counterparts (or something like that), so I have no idea what's going to happen there. D8
